Ngee Cheng Electric Co. (Pte) Ltd was founded by Mr Wong Tai Fatt in 1948, we are one of Singapore's longest-established electrical contractors. With more than 75 years of experience, we have built a strong reputation for quality workmanship, technical expertise, reliable service, and a commitment to safety.
The company was incorporated in 1971 and became a core electrical contractor for the Housing & Development Board (HDB) in the 1980s. We have played an important role in providing electrical installations for many of Singapore's public housing developments.
In 1990, Ngee Cheng achieved the ME05-L5 registration, and in 1998, we were upgraded to ME05-L6, the highest grade for electrical works under the Building and Construction Authority (BCA). In the same year, we also obtained ISO9001 certification, demonstrating our commitment to quality management and continuous improvement.
Today, Ngee Cheng Electric Co. Pte Ltd is lead by our Managing Director, Mr CM Wong. He is a registered Professional Engineer with the Professional Engineers Board (Singapore) and a Licensed Electrical Engineer registered with the Energy Market Authority.
Supporting the company's operations is our Deputy Managing Director, Mr Jimmy Wong. He holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and is also a registered Professional Engineer with the Professional Engineers Board (Singapore).
